Words Scratched On The Wall Of An Insane Asylum in California, 1917

"Could with ink the ocean fill,
and were the skies of parchment made,
were every stalk on earth a quill,
and every man a scribe by trade,
to write the Love of God above,
would drain the ocean dry;
nor could the scroll contain the whole
tho stretched from sky to sky."

Found in "Living Water" by Brother Yun.

Hope you are well.

In case you have never seen the entire song:

We used to sing this all the time at a church I attended years ago. Fond memories.

Ah yes, I have heard this and have sung it on a few occasions.

Jason, thanks for the comment. I am doing well and hope you are the same. I'll give you a call soon.
